Real Stories from Women CEOs Who Out Smarted The Hustle

CEO of Clo & Co Marketing Agency

If you’re thinking about joining The CEO Collective, that’s your answer. Do It. It will completely change your business. It will change your work from home life. It will change your work-life balance because Racheal’s not gonna let you work all week. She will make sure you’re taking breaks and taking care of yourself and your family. It will change your business financially, because if that needle’s not moving, they’re going to stop and investigate why, and make sure that you’re making the money that you want to make. I cannot recommend the collective enough. It’s completely changed my life, my family’s life, and I’m so excited to keep going!

Before I joined The CEO Collective, I did have established clients, but I had no real business plan and without knowing anything about scaling a business – and The CEO Collective helped me create a business plan and backend systems for a brain that’s very creative and not organized. .

I’ve listened to Racheal’s podcast for years. I mean, every episode I did not miss one. I took the chance and I did a discovery call with her. I remember being so nervous. I felt like I was talking to someone that was famous and she was so nice and down to earth and welcoming. None of my questions fazed her. I told her that I was a new mom, and she’s like “Great! We support new moms all the time!” I told her that I wanted to grow a business, but I didn’t know how.

Since joining The CEO Collective, I have hired two virtual assistants that are now doing my backend work so I can focus on growing the business and scaling. I hit six figures in Q4 – at the beginning of Q4 – so I hit my revenue goal early and I’m now surpassing it, which is just unreal. I can’t even believe I’m saying that. I think that I can scale this business now. And even just having the confidence to believe that I can do that is huge. I came in here not knowing anything about scaling a business, and I thought I was gonna be stuck as a solopreneur forever. And now I have a real marketing agency!

I’ve found so much more joy in my work. I work less – I have a baby now and learning how to do the mom business balance has been amazing. Being in The CEO Collective and seeing these women that have been moms for years now and run businesses throughout their child’s entire life has been so helpful. Having that community that is just so close-knit – and they’re my friends now! – has been a great experience.

I am confidently being a mom and a business owner, which is wild. I am working less hours than I was before and I have all of this virtual community for support and help. I do not miss a CEO Date on Mondays – that’s how I plan my week. I use my model calendar and I love my mastermind days where I can bounce ideas off of people. Even if I don’t know what I want to talk about, hearing other people’s struggles oddly is so helpful for your own business because you see 1) it’s relatable and you know that someone else is struggling with the same thing as you and 2) sometimes you provide an idea and then you think, oh, I need to steal that idea! I always leave those calls motivated and it’s just an all around great experience to add to your business.

One of the biggest things that I like about The CEO Collective is the in-person CEO Retreats. I’m from Texas, I live in a small town where the idea of working from home is non-existent. People ask all the time why my kid is in daycare – they think I’m like a stay-at-home mom that just sends her kid to daycare for fun.

At the in-person CEO Retreats, I can hug everybody’s neck, get to know them, they can look me in the eyes and say, Natalie, this is what you need to do. And you know it. And that was huge.  It was such a big draw versus other coaching programs because I knew that once a quarter I was going to get on a plane, come to Virginia, stay in an Airbnb, and have time to not only reflect on my business, to meet my new business friends, to expand my business network from those around me, but to have the accountability that comes with an in-person retreat.
