Love the Life You’re Living with Michelle Wood

by | Last updated: Apr 10, 2022 | Podcast

Has 2020 left you feeling like there are too many tabs open in your brain?

I see entrepreneurs in this position all the time – trying to do too many things at once and ending up overwhelmed and frustrated with themselves for not being able to do it all.

Remember, we are human beings, NOT computers! We need to simplify and streamline in order to feel good about our lives and our businesses.

It’s time for a reboot.

We have to create our next normal to figure out a life that isn’t so stressful, difficult, and challenging so that we can feel excited and motivated again.

I’m thrilled to welcome Michelle Wood of Live Colorfully and Well to the show to share her experience helping high achieving women bring more joy, happiness, and color into their lives as they courageously take a stand for living an intentional and fulfilled life.

We talk about strategies and methods to live better and more colorfully – take a listen!

This week on Promote Yourself to CEO:

2:30 Introducing this week’s special guest: Michelle Wood of Live Colorfully and Well, and sharing my story of meeting her at my very first CEO Retreat.

5:24 Michelle shares her journey to becoming a lifestyle strategist, from living in Los Angeles working 24 hour days to becoming an entrepreneur in Arizona.

9:59 How to overcome distraction and comparison in the age of information and influencers, and what it means for YOU specifically to live the best life for YOU.

12:53 Diving into Michelle’s Colorful Life Triangle – a tool to create the vibrant and purposeful life we’re all looking for.

17:44 What radical self-love looks like for women entrepreneurs, and why it is so critical to our success.

19:54 Concrete insights to apply each element of the Colorful Life Triangle to your life right now, including the HALT acronym.

27:50 The challenge of self-compassion for Type A, high achieving women, my personal struggles with being so hard on myself during COVID, and strategies to take some of the pressure off.

32:30 Creating your personal resilience plan in order to set boundaries, ask for help, organize, and more.

38:05 Ready to Get Fired Up and Focused? We’re kicking off another round of this challenge to help you get more productive without burnout. Even if you’ve done this FREE challenge before, it has been revamped and refreshed, so we’d love to have you join us again!
